Baby Cash {Birth}

I have been anticipating the birth of this little boy for quite some time now and I'm so happy he made his appearance! I knew on the day he was born, through some texting with his Mommy... that she thought it might be the day! I already had everything packed and ready for the phone call to go to the hospital. Well-- later that night, I got it!! Cash's Daddy sent me a text that they had just arrived to the hospital and she was already at 8cm. Holy cow... I rushed out of the house! Typically I like to get to the hospital when the mothers are around 5-7cm, depending on how fast they are progressing so I knew Cash would be make his grand arrival soon!

As I got to the hospital, I rushed into the ER (that's the only way to get in late at night...) and the lady thought I was in labor. I somewhat laughed... and explained again that I need to go up to L&D for another Mom hahaha!!! I got there and Kimberly was progressing great and I made it in time! That is what I was most worried about... I really didn't want to miss the delivery! Kimberly may have been the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in labor, so calm and in control of the whole situation. I knew at that point, it was going to be an awesome delivery... and I was right!!! It was!! Enjoy a few pictures from the night--

First, his cord was wrapped all the way down his leg and second, he had a true knot in his cord! Thank you to the awesome midwife that held him up for me, just so I could capture the moment.

And the first official family pictures--

"I can't thank you enough for the wonderful pictures! I smiled and cried happy tears while looking through the birth pictures...there's so much that I didn't remember and you captured everything perfectly. I would highly recommend for anyone considering having their birth photographed to do it. It sounds odd to have a birth photographed but every picture was so tastefully done and not at all too personal or icky...moments to cherish forever are captured that mom and dad may miss!"
