Miss Elivette's Birth
A couple of months ago, I was contacted by Jessica to photograph my first birth. I have been wanting to expand my portfolio for some time now but it just hadn't become a reality yet. I work a full-time job during the day which can discourage clients fast but I knew I would make it work one way or the other! I love pregnancies, the birth process and newborns more than anything else I could photograph!
After meeting Jessica, I knew we would make a great match for each other and she fully trusted me to take the responsibility to photograph her birth. I couldn't be more grateful, as it was one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever been part of! On Tuesday, August 7th, Jessica had been texting me throughout the day and keeping me up to date with her progress. We both thought that day was going to be the day but I had to make plans just in case the baby decided to come quickly and I had to leave work. Luckily, I was able to put in a full day of work and I headed straight there! Her contractions were regular but not progressing as fast as what we first thought. I decided to go back home and cook some supper for my kids and husband quick (we live 10 mins apart from each other). My husband took the kids for a run and I just sat down to relax and I got a text from here to head back over to the house!! Woohoo :)
Progress by then had really started and the baby would soon be entering the world! I will let the photographs do the rest of the talking...

I know you all have been patiently waiting for me to post my fall mini session schedule! As of right now, there will only be ONE day unless those slots fill up so quick, I will add another day! Here are all the details:

Price: $100
($20 Non-refundable deposit due within week of booking)

Location: Exact address will be mailed before mini-sessions. Here is a quick preview of what the location looks like!! The home that sits on the property looks like it should be in a park in up-state NY! It's beautiful so there are many photography opportunities with trees, beautiful landscapes, pond, prairie grass, etc!
Other Info:
All proofs will be ready in time for mailing holiday cards and I will give you the rights to use any of the pictures on your disk for the cards!
I will provide a few photo props for the mini sessions as well!
Keagan {Newborn}
I think sometimes I am the only photographer that gets blessed with such beautiful babies! Keagan was perfect in every single way! Here are just a few favorites from the session!
This blanket was a keepsake from Keagan's Great Grandma! I always love it when clients bring sentimental items to photograph!
Aubrey {Newborn}
Aubrey was the sweetest little baby one could ever ask for! Her parents, even better yet!! Their hard work of keeping her awake before her photoshoot surely paid off! Miss Aubrey never woke up or made a peep! I never even saw her eyes open the entire session. She was so beautiful in every way and I hope you enjoy viewing her slideshow and pictures! Can you believe it??
In all honesty, I have been so busy that I haven't had time to keep this blog up-- UNTIL NOW! It's like a New Year's resolution for myself... except it is July :) I haven't been on here since April and that makes me very sad. I keep my own personal blog going as well and I always seem to do better with that blog but I promise, I'm going to start it up again!
How do you like my new website??
Pretty awesome right? I've been spending a lot of time working on creating a new brand for myself. I didn't like the name 'Sweekit Designs' because that didn't explain my photography business well enough and it was just time for a little change. Give me another year and I will be changing it again :) I don't quite have all my galleries updated YET, but that is on the to-do list for this week! Well, that's all I got for right now at the moment but I just wanted to start with a fresh new start! I will be updating some of my most recent photoshoots soon on the blog so be on the lookout!!
